Biography

I'm an English science fiction author with a penchant for interplanetary adventures and steampunk. My publishers include Harlequin Carina Press, and I also ghostwrite in various genres, on commission. In my free time I hike, kayak, and read as many vintage sci-fi and adventure novels as I can get my hands on. My favourite books and films, like my own fiction, usually take place in the distant past or the far future. The night sky is my inspiration.

My work has been nominated for several awards, and in 2011 I won the EPIC Award for Best Historical Fiction.

I usually have music playing, mostly classical or film music - something to set the mood of the scene I'm writing

Favorite Character You Created

Kate Borrowdale, the deep space survivalist from The Eleven Hour Fall. She was my first heroine, and set the blueprint for all those I've written since.
