I'm a wife, mother, and veteran. I live in the Pacific northwest with my patient spouse and impatient dogs.
Romance books were my first love, and I still adore that breathless anticipation of a touch, the sweetness of a kiss, and the steamy heat from an urgent connection.
Modern life can beat you up: juggling sick kids, a hectic schedule, a jerk of a boss. Not enough time, and money’s tight. Sometimes, we all need an escape: a harmless indulgence, where the good guys win and all is right in the end, just to recharge.
A Holiday Romance features ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances. Women and men swept away by passion and kept apart by reality. Plots with more at stake than “will they or won’t they?” Hot alpha heroes who aren’t jerks (no romanticized abuse), and cinnamon-roll heroes who aren’t wimps, heroines who are intelligent, not fragile. Armchair travel to exotic locations, and glimpses into other worlds, whether those are military, occupational, or the ultra-wealthy. And of course, in the end, a happily ever after.
Some of my Romance novels are interrelated by time and characters, but each is a stand-alone work, so that means NO cliffhangers and that they can be read in any order. I’m proud that they appeal to men as well as women.
