Dennis J. Beesley is a stay-at-home dad. He was born in Germany and raised in San Diego, California with five siblings. He loves to travel and has lived in multiple states across the US, moving ten times in ten years at one point. He went to Peru with his late wife in 2005 where he tasted what he considers some of the best Chinese food. That trip was cut short due to a medical emergency that left him widowed, though it was one of the most spiritual times in his life when he gained a stronger relationship with and appreciation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Since that experience, he has remarried to a loving and patient wife. Together, they lived in Ukraine for seven months in 2010, where he experienced full-time stay-at-home parenting for the first time, and his “career” hasn’t changed since. He and his wife have five adoring (and often bickering) children, the first of whom is a daughter named after his late wife. He currently lives in Provo, Utah, spending most of his time with his youngest children and Legos, throwing baseballs and softballs to his older kids, volunteering as their soccer coach when needed, and serving in various positions in his church.
