Description
A delightful collection of tales filled with wit, wonder, and just the right touch of the extraordinary.
English Fairy Tales gathers together some of the most beloved and peculiar stories from the British Isles—not tales of delicate fairies, but of clever tricksters, foolish giants, talking animals, and magical happenings. These are the stories that generations of children begged to hear again and again.
Curated with humor and charm, this collection includes “drolls”—short, comic folk tales once passed around by the firesides of rural England. These tales reflect the spirit of Merrie England, with its rich tradition of storytelling, mischief, and heart.
This professionally formatted ebook includes both EPUB and MOBI file types and is perfect for readers of all ages—whether you’re revisiting your childhood or discovering these tales for the first time.
