Description
Twenty-three-year-old Benjamin Wise is trapped in an infinite loop of automated rejections. Drowning in debt and crippled by the shame of chronic unemployment, he feels like a syntax error in the real world. Unable to execute or function, he is quietly suffocating in the cramped flat he shares with his overworked Aunt Mary.
But when a catastrophic hardware failure corrupts the last existing digital memories of Benjamin’s late parents, the fragile peace of their household shatters. Mary is left grieving all over again, locked out of the only digital graveyard she had left.
Armed with nothing but a dying laptop and a desperate need to be useful, Benjamin sets out to salvage the corrupted drive. Plunging into the digital wreckage to rescue shattered fragments of code, he soon realizes he is rebuilding much more than just lost video files.
