Description
Suspenseful horror novelette, FREE (only for Stephen Barnard subscribers).
From the author of “A Very Bad Year” and “Unlucky Numbers,” an eerie tale about the past bleeding into the present with potentially dire consequences.
Michael Epping is the headteacher at Lawton Vale. He receives a mysterious visitor, asking about the unearthing of a time capsule on the school grounds. Michael doesn’t know anything about it—nobody in the school does—but the well-to-do Mr Carsley is quite insistent. He knows what’s in there. He was there when it was buried.
Michael soon suspects that the contents would be better left where they are. But once the past is dug up, there’s often no way of burying it again . . .
