Description
Joan McAllister never imagined a world without her larger-than-life father in it. After Big Jim’s sudden death, she is overwhelmed with sorrow, harrowed up by guilt over her career dreams she never shared with her parents, and burdened with stepping in to help her mother run the family farm and care for three younger brothers. How can she turn away from her father’s dying wish, even when it means giving up her own dreams? To complicate matters, Joan is attracted to a man she met at her father’s funeral. How can she be musing about romance when her life is in such turmoil?
Bob Riley recognizes in Joan the kind of woman he has always wanted. Even though they met under somber circumstances—at Big Jim’s funeral—there’s nothing somber about his feelings for Joan. Bob knows they have much in common, and he’s pretty sure Joan is attracted to him, so why does she keep pulling away? And what will it take to persuade her to honor her own dreams and the emotions that draw them together?
Come to Rainbow Rock, Arizona, and learn what awaits Bob, Joan, and the rest of the McCallister clan in Over the Rainbow.
