Who Is Dave Ramsey?
Ramsey was born in 1959 in Tennessee. He graduated from college with a bachelor degree in finance and real estate. He quickly put that knowledge to work as a real estate investor, creating a real estate portfolio of 4 million dollars.
But when the bank that was financing his business was sold, the new owner demanded repayment on the loan. Unable to pay, Ramsey had to file for bankruptcy in 1988.
Ramsey was able to recover from his bankruptcy and has dedicated his life to teaching others how to be financially responsible using the knowledge he gained through his experiences. He founded Lampo group, LLC in 1992, and it was rebranded to be Ramsey solutions in 2014. His company gives financial counseling to individuals and offers multiple online courses on personal finances for different age groups and situations.

What does the Bible really say about money? About wealth? How much does God expect you to give to others? How does wealth affect your friendships, marriage, and children? How much is “enough”?
There’s a lot of bad information in our culture today about wealth and the wealthy. Worse, there’s a growing backlash in America against our most successful citizens. But why? To many, wealth is seen as the natural result of hard work and wise money management. To others, wealth is viewed as the ultimate, inexcusable sin. This has left many godly men and women confused about what to do with the resources God has put in their care. They were able to build wealth using God’s ways of handling money, but then they are left feeling guilty about it. Is this what God had in mind?
The Legacy Journey takes you deep into God’s Word, revealing His perspective on wealth, your personal and family legacy, and how He wants to use you to further His kingdom work around the world. You can truly live and leave a legacy. The journey starts today.
