Simone Stier writes humorous, modern cozy mysteries about women starting over, solving murders and building new lives in charming small towns. She is the author of the Cafe Crimes Cozy Mystery Series and the Cape Fear Bookshop Mysteries, two North Carolina-set mystery series featuring amateur sleuths, clever clues, found family, coffee shops, bookshops and secrets that refuse to stay buried.

Simone lives in North Carolina with her husband and writing partner, Peter. When they aren’t plotting their next fictional crime, they’re probably cold plunging, chasing a new book idea or laughing about something absurd.
