Biography
Richard Wright, born 1948, has been, or in some cases still is, a transport enthusiast, church bell ringer, Bluebell Railway guard, Scout Leader, IT enthusiast, narrowboat part-owner, NCI Watchkeeper.
He has dabbled in local politics and spends too much time on Facebook. He has earned a living running buses and coaches, being a school security manager and theatre manager, though not simultaneously. In 2013 he saw the light and retired – at least technically. “The Suspects” is his first published book.
He is married and has two stepsons and two grandsons. He and his wife live in Sussex.
He believes in setting his books in real or very plausible places, and most certainly in crediting his younger subjects with intelligence, self-reliance and innate common sense.
