Biography

One of Lindsey Luckey’s favorite things to do is read books with her children. She believes that a good story can spark a child's imagination, as well as help them through tough times, which is the inspiration behind ‘Pete the Pig Gets Picked On’ 'My Dog Went to Heaven,' Daddy and Emma Face Cancer Together,' 'Our New Baby is in the NICU,' as well as several others!

A full-time Registered Nurse, a graduate student from Duke University, a wife, and a mom of 3 little ones, Lindsey writes books that acknowledge feelings children may experience when faced with difficult situations as a way to help them figure life out while also spreading the love of reading.
