Biography
Kim Anders has been a Golf Professional for more than 35 years. He was the Head Professional at the Pole Creek Golf Course (Golf Digest’s Best New Public Course in America, 1984) in Winter Park, Colorado for 21 years, during which time the golf course and golf operations received numerous State and National awards. He is most proud of Pole Creek being named “The Friendliest Course in Colorado” multiple times.
Kim has worked with players from the PGA Senior Tour, LPGA Tour, and various other Professional Tours. He started the golf program with the National Sports Center for the Disabled and worked with more than 50 participants with challenges ranging from amputations to traumatic brain injury. He was the Technical Coach for the Mexican Golf Federation (Mexico’s USGA) junior teams for 2 years when the boys and girls national teams had 2nd place finishes in the World Junior Team Championship in Japan.
With a longtime love for coaching and teaching the game, he didn’t hesitate at the opportunity to be the Director of Instruction at the new John Jacobs’ Golf School at the Estrella del Mar Golf & Beach Resort in Mazatlan, the only John Jacobs facility in Latin America.
Currently, he is the Director of Instruction at The Performance Golf Schools at Estrella del Mar.
Kim is a Life Member of the PGA of America.
