Currently trying to market my second book, "Insights into Uganda". In the back of my mind, I am thinking about what track training session to do this afternoon at Kampala's Mandela National Stadium, with Uganda's top female sprinter - 400m national record holder and national champion, Shida Leni.

Biography

Kevin O’Connor, 65, was born in West London and is a Masters of Arts holder in Economics from Cambridge University. Together with his wife Sue, 58, the couple have lived in Uganda for the past 23 years.

Previously he had a 20-year career with the British Council, with his last posting as the Deputy Director in Uganda, a position he left in 1996. The couple returned independently to Uganda in 1997.
