KEVIN KELLEY

I've just finished the manuscript for my fifth novel, The Life of Donovan O'Brien. It should be out by Jaunary 2026. It's the second historical novel I've written and takes place mostly in Vietnam but traces a young boy's life filled with struggles that only worsen during the war. As terrifying as Vietnam was, it's where Donovan finds the meaning of life and the love of his life, if he can keep her.
I have a political thriller trilogy, A Time of Lies: North Korean Style, A Time of Chaos (which naturally takes place in D.C.), and A Time of Ever After, mostly set in Colorado and Montana. A Naval Intelligence Officer is the protagonist throughout the series. He's a character worth caring about.

Biography

Kevin lives in Colorado. His writing draws from an extensive background of real-world experience.
He lived in Germany, England, and Belgium while growing up, and his adult careers included five years as a Legislative Assistant to a high-ranking Member of Congress, five years as the Federal Relations Liaison for the City of Boston, heading their D.C. office, and over twenty-five years as an Investment Advisor.
He's been active in his church, serving as past treasurer, trustee, and as a Sunday School teacher to 4thand 5th graders. Kevin is involved with several non-profit organizations and cherishes the time he can set aside to write.
He and his wife Ronda lived in one of Boulder’s earliest homes, built in 1890; the very one described in his novel, A Time of Ever After. She is a founder of Peak to Peak Charter School. Kevin’s also the proud father of three children and proud Papa to three grandsons.
