Biography

I am the writer of three comic series, Bellydancing and Beyond, Diva Diaries and Planet Hy Man. I have been shortlisted for the Asham Short Story award (decades ago) and had two short dramatic radio plays performed on radio. I have done many things, from helping on a farm-badly to teaching Bellydancing-not badly. Now at the ripe of almost retired, I want to use my warped memory to make funny stories for those who, like me, laugh in the face of too tight trousers.

Bellydancing, painting pictures of people, pottering with plants and having a few drinks with my pals.

Most Exotic Place Visited

Egypt I saw a real live bellydancer at a wedding reception.

What Shampoo Do You Use?

Anything that smells of coconut or vanilla.

Your Dream Car

A car that is cheap to run and doesn't break down.

Favorite Sport

None I am a lover of dance.

Mountains or Beach? Why?

My choice is a beach with a moutain in the background. I love the view from a moutain, and the sound of the waves.

Pet Peeve

Fried or poached eggs with a hard yokes, I like my yokes runny. I am trying to go vegan so I guess that dosen't count so much. Still in the days when I did part take of a free they had to be runny.

Book that Changed Your Life

DJ Salanger's "Catcher In The Rye" I was depresssed at the time and he made me feel that life was worth living. I was not the only one who felt as I did.

Favorite Place to Write

My Hubby's resturant, he feeds me curry and wine.

Do You Listen to Music While Writing? What Kind?

Anything that has no words, I click onto Youtube, and search for music for the creative mind; amazing what turns up.

Favorite Character You Created

Pete the android he is based on Jeeves in P J Woodhouse's "Jeeves and Wooster "books that make me laugh out.
