Currently, I'm working on Before You Me & Us, the 2nd book in the series You Me & Us, which is available for pre-order on major retailers.
A second project is an illustrated speculative fiction novel, which I'm writing with my daughter who is an aspiring 3D animator. She is my illustrator on this project.
Third (yes, I am a multi-talker), I am finishing a children's book.
Four is Three Little Secrets, which is about Savannah as an adult. Yes, dear readers, you coerced me into writing more about my favourite family after I thought I was done!

Biography

Kate lives in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. She always loved reading, devouring book after book, which soon turned into a love of writing fiction.
When she'd not writing, she loves visiting local wineries, going for walks with friends, and hanging out the local beach, often with her laptop nearby. Spending time outdoors is a one of her favourite things, whether it be hiking the local paths, paddling on Okanagan Lake, or visiting a new locale.

Hobbies

Hiking the local trails, kayaking, enjoying the sandy beaches, and visiting local wineries. Given the number we have in the area, I might never run out of new wines to try.

What Shampoo Do You Use?

Bar shampoo, purchased at small, local stores. I hate big plastic bottles.

Your Dream Car

A car just gets you from A to B. I'd rather dream about trips, particularly travelling to Bali and spending time in Europe.

Favorite Sport

Only one? I can't decide between kayaking, hiking, and swimming.

Mountains or Beach? Why?

Mountains and beaches. Why choose when I can enjoy either, both of which I can reach within ten minutes or less?

People talking with their mouth full. Enough said.

Book that Changed Your Life

How do I choose just one? I've read many amazing books that have changed my life in different ways. I will say one of my favourite authors is Margaret Atwood. The Handmaid's Tale left a lasting impression.

Favorite Place to Write

My local beach. I bough a low beach chair perfect for writing. Why not? I have numerous sandy beaches to choose from, and you can generally find me at one of them on sunny summer days.

Do You Listen to Music While Writing? What Kind?

I enjoy music when I'm writing. As to what kind, it depends on the day and what I'm writing, though my writing songs tend to be emotional and moody.

Favorite Character You Created

My book boyfriend, Aiden Hamilton. He was the start of my writing journey. Some people might think he's a bit too good to be true, but if you've read Everything We Promised (his early journey with Tiffany) you will see the dark side he overcomes be the man he grows into. Sexy and a little dark, but devoted to his friends and family, this man beat the odds.
