Biography

Karen Lynn Bennett, author of young adult paranormal, started writing as a child by the light of the full moon--yes, really. Perhaps she has always been a little supernatural. But it wasn't until she'd graduated from Brigham Young University, married, and practically finished raising her children that she finally finished her first book. Now she can't stop, literally. It might kill her, or so she believes. When she isn't writing, she's baking up something sweet and delicious and then killing herself to burn off the calories. It's a sick, yet satisfying, cycle.

Walk-jogging -- that's a thing, right? Let's me burn calories and brainstorm book ideas at the same time I'm jamming to my favorite tunes. Now that's multi-tasking.

Most Exotic Place Visited

Does it have to be exotic, because if so, then it was zip-lining in the Mexican forest. But my favorites are the Cotswalds of England and river cruises along the Rhine River.

Your Dream Car

Hmmmm... Not sure I have one. Used to be the Range Rover, but these days all I care about are 1) that I never have to fix it, 2) I rarely have to gas it up, and 3) Big enough to hold my crap and small enough to park at the grocery store without getting dinged.

Favorite Sport

Basketball -- yeah, played four years in high school.

Mountains or Beach? Why?

Why do I have to choose? That's why the setting of my book series is in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The Redwoods and the Monterey Bay are 15 min away from each other.
