Former standup comedian turned author Joel Paul Reisig has worked as a wrangler, driven in a demolition derby, competed in the longest kayak race in the world, boxed in the Golden Gloves, ridden bulls and wrestled alligators, and raced a dog sled ninety miles across Michigan's frozen upper peninsula.
