English by birth, I've lived and worked in several countries. Right now I live in Maryland, where my trilogies are based, but that is about to change as we close on our house sale on April 6th.
After that will come a temporary stay in Sarasota, Florida at my mother-in-law's house while my American husband and I debate/argue over where we will live next.
After graduating in French and German from Exeter (also J.K.Rowling's alma mater!) I changed course to become an ACA - the British equivalent of the American CPA.
I joined the now Ernst & Young accounting firm and worked for them in London and Frankfurt, Germany where I met my husband. After traveling to several other countries for his work, we arrived in the States, and I now have my U.S. citizenship.
I am an avid - actually obsessive - horse rider and owner. It dawned on me that one day I might not be able to ride anymore, and had better have another passion. So I began writing a few years ago.
After dabbling for a long time in various genres, I now write Christian Inspirational Fiction in addition to short stories and non-fiction books about horses and my Christian and equestrian blogs.
I feel enormously lucky to have two passions: my horse and my writing.
