Heidi Gray McGill writes Christian historical fiction that fuses faith and fiction™ to encourage readers to choose joy and trust God’s plan. Her stories invite readers into emotionally rich journeys where flawed yet faithful characters discover that God’s timing is always perfect.

When she’s not writing, Heidi enjoys family game nights, cooking comfort food, long walks, and listening to audiobooks. She lives near Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband of more than thirty years and treasures every moment spent with their growing family.

She’s the author of the Discerning God’s Best series, including Desire of My Heart—a Selah Award Finalist for Audiobook—along with With All My Heart, Matters of the Heart, Healing of the Heart, and Written on My Heart, as well as several companion Christmas novellas.
