Biography

I'm a 5th generation Floridian now living in Virginia. Why? Because everyone else moved to Florida. I've owned boats since I was six years old, both power and sail, and lost count of exactly how many. I've flown more aircraft types than most people will ever ride in. My late father-in-law was fond of saying that I could "hold a conversation with the town mayor or the town drunk." It's true, because I've been both. I finally quit politics, but still look forward to my afternoon libations. Writing comes easy to me because, truthfully, I've had a very interesting life filled with extremely interesting friends and characters. From billionaires to boat bums, with a ton of folks in between, its been anything but boring. But writing has become such a great part of my life now, and I'm fortunate to have enough folks that like reading my stories so I can now write full time.
