Cecelia Hopkins-Drewer

Biography

Cecelia grew up in the Barossa Valley, an area of South Australia predominantly settled by German immigrants. She remembers the struggle to learn to read – and reading was a slow process until one birthday, she sat down with her gift, and the mystery story was so exciting, She finished it in one session. She has wanted to write her own stories ever since!
Cecelia has had her share of romantic disappointments of course and also spent some years volunteering as a counsellor. She hopes that sharing her insights (in fictional form) can help empower modern youth. It is all about being true to yourself - and being independent of others’ opinion.
