Biography
Alexander Gwyn is a New Orleans–area poet whose debut collection, Bend My Light, became a #1 Amazon bestseller in Religious Poetry, with a 4.6-star rating across 200+ reviews. The book gathers twenty-three poems—each paired with original expressionist artwork—into a journey through three movements: Descent, Search, and Arrival. Readers often say they don't usually read poetry, but that this one reached them anyway. Gwyn came to poetry later in life, when the poems began arriving in a sudden, sustained rush; he writes about loss, resilience, the connectivity of all things, and finding light on the other side of hard places. A second collection is on the way.
