We hope you’ve all enjoyed receiving daily ebook deals, and that you’ve discovered a new favorite author or two. However, did you know that we provide other ways to discover and connect with authors through Book Cave?
Introducing Author pages
Author pages are a place where authors can tell you a little bit about themselves, and their work, and keep you up to date with any new releases and ebook deals. Most authors also link their social profiles and websites to their author pages. So, if you’re having a hard time finding an author online yourself, their Book Cave profile is a great way to get a quick snapshot of all the places you can find them.
We have a lot of fun features planned for author pages in the future, but right now you have the ability to leave the writers you love comments, see their current deals, and “follow” them to make sure you’re always up to date on their latest releases and deals so you never miss a book.
The Follow Button
If you’d like to stay up to date on an author’s new releases and ebook sales but aren’t interested in joining an author’s newsletter or if you’re having a hard time finding places to connect with an author outside of Book Cave (not all authors have active social media profiles, websites, or newsletters), then the follow button is perfect for you.
The follow button is located right below an author’s profile picture in their bio (highlighted in yellow above), and allows you to opt in to receive notifications when a writer releases a new book or puts a book on sale. Follow buttons on our author pages will only be used to make you aware of their new publications and ebook deals. So, if you’d like to get more personal information and get to know even more about an author’s personality, we strongly suggest you also join their newsletter or follow them on social media.
Search for Your Favorite Authors
Author pages have a built-in search function (highlighted in yellow above) to help you quickly find authors that you’re looking for. Or, you can just browse through the profiles if you’re simply in the market for some great new books.
If you don’t see an author you’re looking for, let us know! Author pages are a relatively new feature on our site, and not all authors have had the time to create them. So, if you know of an author you really want to follow, let us know their name and we’ll contact them about making a profile. With a little extra support from readers, we’re sure they’ll have a page up in no time!
So, if you love reading, get out there and show your favorite authors a little extra love today!
Happy reading.

Sounds great. How do I sign up?
Just browse or search the author pages at https://mybookcave.com/profiles/, then click the “Follow” button.
Sounds interesting, I would like to try it.
Great idea, I look forward to using it.
I wish that a lot of authors wouldn’t put all good books on amazon or kindle not everyone has access to those sites. I love reading books and there is so many books on here that I miss.
I strongly agree!!!
As a retired professional proofreader and editor, I would like to be able to tell some authors in a more private way than a book review things they can do to improve their books, like spelling mistakes, punctuation errors that interfere with the story and just bad grammar. I have a pet peeve on the particular use of where/were/we’re and similar things. I just end up losing interest in reading anything else by them or even sometimes I can’t even finish that book. I’m not being mean, it is just writing is an art that you are selling if it is not important enough for you to have someone else actually READ it before you put it out, then I feel you disrespect the art.
I think this is a great idea. That way, you know which books we will want to read, and those we do not. A win, win situation.
Have A Joyful Day!
Thank you!!
Sounds good. I’ll try it out for a while and see how I feel.
