Description
Overachieving journalist Bree-Anne Carver hopes to get a great internship with the New York Times—but when she joins the company, they ship her off to rural Idaho. Stuck in the middle of nowhere, far away from her original goals, Bree-Anne begins a fictional crime blog called C-Murder-of-the-Week.
Her very first subscriber turns out to be a total nightmare. The mysterious netizen continuously and brutally criticizes her and sends her their own ideas. Bree-Anne realizes, however, that these “ideas” are based on real cases . . . that have all been labeled accidental by law enforcement. Unwilling to put a target on her back with police or a potential killer, Bree-Anne refuses to add these ideas to her blog. This comes with an ominous warning:
There will be consequences.
