Warriors and Monks: Pons, Abbot of Cluny

Description

Pons, born to a noble family, is given to the Saint Pons Monastery at the age of four. Reaching adulthood, he falls in love with Primavera, a woman in the nearby village. He is elected as Abbot of Cluny Monastery, traveling to Spain to see the king. On his journey, he must fight brigands and cope with the intimate advances from the queen.

Pons makes a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. On the way to the Holy Land, he meets an Irish monk, and they join a troop of Polish knights.

When Pons returns to Europe, he visits his mother in France. Life-changing surprises await him there.
