Description
Barry Donadio was a 25-year-old Emergency Medical Technician that responded to the TWA Flight 800 crash. The interesting twist is that Barry Donadio was also employed as a Security Police Officer at the same military base that some people blame for shooting down the plane (The 106th Rescue Wing at Gabreski ANG Base, Westhampton Beach, NY). He later became a USAF Security Police Investigator and a SWAT Team Leader at that same base. He even made it to the White House. He was later employed by the United States Secret Service under the Bush and Obama Administrations. This account offers a look inside the Coast Guard Station at East Moriches as rescue operation that began to unfold on that evening. The Coast Guard station was where the victims of TWA Flt 800 were brought that evening. Donadio’s book offers some clues that may support your opinion as to what may have truly happened to the plane and why it may have crashed. Donadio offers no suggestions referring to why the plane crashed. He only describes what he observed at the during rescue operations. Descriptions of some of the victim’s fates are included in the account as well as other interesting anomalies that were observed on that evening. Not for persons under the age of 17 years old. Donadio also includes events that he experienced years before the crash and after the crash to offer a look into what First Responders experience in their careers. A great book to check out if you are interested in what everyday Firefighter and EMT’s respond to on a daily basis. The witness account has undergone United States Government censorship, but the author documents wherein the account that censorships took place. Donadio does not provide a suggestion or explanation for the reason TWA Flight 800 had crashed in this book. Donadio shares some of his other first responder experiences before and after the TWA Flight 800 incident.
