Description
“Meredith,” my grandmother struggled to speak through her blue lips, “go to the White Mountains.” Her desperate voice rasped through her ventilator mask as if someone sinking into slow, sifting quicksand. The cold, blue-veined hands gripped mine tight, making me wince. “Your fate is in the White Mountains, go now!”
Haunted by her dreams of her grandmother’s request, she travels to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire only to become involved in a ghostly mystery and love.
A naïve girl, Shayla Flynn, has never left her mountain family; but she travels to a world she never imagined. Caught up in the lavish home, enticing gifts, and abundant praise, Shayla promises to love and adore her new family. Even as they coerce her into promising that she would do anything they ask; she has no idea what depths of commitment she vowed.
Now, Shayla Flynn is a ghost, haunting the White Mountains searching where it will lead.
