Description
When Deborah was a little girl growing up in Mississippi, she and her younger brother, Dewayne, were often left alone while their grandmother went to work. There were no computers and only a few black and white stations on the television, if you were blessed enough to have one. Deborah made the decision to go into the kitchen and play. She chose her grandmother’s favorite big pot and began to mix all sorts of ingredients she found in the kitchen, refrigerator, and the bath room. Ultimately, she blew up the kitchen, and everything in the kitchen, including Deborah, turned purple. Deborah buried the pot in the back yard to conceal it from her grandmother.
Later, feeling guilty about what she had done, Deborah decided to retrieve the pot and confess what she did. However, to this day, she was not able to find the pot and never told her grandmother what happened. Deborah’s family still owns the property, and she is determined to go back home to find the pot.
