Description
Julie, a young and troubled teen, dreads spending the summer on a Canadian island with her relatives. Things look better when she runs into Stan, who lives nearby, and she finds a wonderful dog for a friend. The reporter who arrives to interview her uncle is a bit pushy, but that’s interesting, and so is the mysterious old woodcarver who lives at Dead Man’s Point. Julie’s hopes for happiness begin to rise. But everything falls apart when stolen artifacts and her spiteful cousin threaten disaster. She can’t help wondering: does God care?
