Description

Eva was reared in the country by a highly intellectual father and a renowned philosopher grandfather who avoid high society like the plague. After her grandfather dies, Eva’s Aunt Hull invites her to attend a season in town. Her educated mind and sharp tongue set her apart as she debuts in Queen Victoria’s London. What starts as a harmless little lark to attend the theater, soon becomes a gigantic ruse of hope and heartache that will shape the rest of her life.
