Randy is a young, Latter-Day Saint mother, and she has things all figured out. As a child, her life was unsettled and disturbing at times, but now she is following the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is learning to minister and things are bound to be wonderful and perfect now that she is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and following its precepts. “The Goats and the Sheep- A Latter-Day Tale of Ministering to His Daughters” is a chronicle of Randy’s journey, a journey that many of us take to learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Randy has to learn to come to terms with the fact that she gets it wrong way more than she gets it right, not unlike most of us, and surprisingly she starts to understand that is okay.
