But as time goes on, his father’s evil ways escalate, and a shocking and unimaginable string of events unfold that turns into an abusive nightmare.

As the abuse goes on, Maurice decides to stay quiet about what was happening to him, thinking this would mentally destroy his mother, and that his father would end his life if he ever spoke out. His father cuts off everyone in Maurice’s life who could potentially protect him. Left to fight for survival, only he can save himself.
