Description
Professor Miles Banford is famous (and infamous) app developer and youngest adjunct professor of his university. As a new school year starts, one of his female students disappears and the police are intrigued by her last email to him and he’s held for questioning. Getting a hand from an unknown hacker, he’s quickly released, but his troubles don’t end.
As he begins a search for the missing student, his high-profile mother asks him to make an app for her. Professor Banford has wealth beyond his dreams made through hard work as an app developer, but he has a past with countless indiscretions—many of them front-page tabloid news. The indiscretions are always refracted through his mother’s career.
As he involves himself more with the project, the search for the girl, and now the beautiful “tech-nerd” assigned to him from his mother’s staff, stranger and more deadly outcomes begin to look more probable. Why would someone want him dead?
Fueled by a surprise ending, Professor Banford fights many forces to save his reputation . . . and his own life.
