Description
Why did she listen to that old hag in the bar? Big mistake.
Wandering, lost in a dark forest, searching for some magical pond in Ireland was insane!
First prize was an all expense trip to Ireland! But when she takes her trip, odd occurrences morph into crazy.
That elderly woman at the bar nagged Bernadette to visit a “special spot” in the woods near the inn she was staying at. “Ah, your song is a thing of beauty,” she said. “Sing it under a full moon and wondrous things will happen for you.”
No biggie; those woods were right at the back of the hotel, and that “Moon Pond” she talked about was just a short jaunt away.
Out of nowhere Lugh appears. Tall, insanely gorgeous and completely out of his mind. He thinks he’s an ancient Irish god? Sure he’s got a chiseled body. He’s also walking around the woods stark naked.
When his oldest friend steps out of the underbrush, things take a magical turn. For real. Angus says he’s some sort of Fae god, and his spells and conjuring back that up.
Bernadette is going to find out that awakening the gods comes at a price. After they put some clothes on, they explain to her that a battle is coming, and the fate of the universe itself depends on the outcome.
And whether or not she wants to be a part of it, Bernadette has a role to play.
