June is a struggling single mom living in the Mission district. Her son Brooklyn is a 4-year-old who uses a walker due to his Cerebral Palsy. One day June waits for Brooklyn’s school bus to drop him off after school, but it never shows. She finds out that he has been kidnapped by his grandmother Beverly, who has dementia. In addition, she has hired two dangerous men to help her. June thinks Beverly is playing out a dangerous event from her past. Where are they taking the boy?
Both Beverly and Brooklyn’s health are a risk the longer they are missing. June and ex-husband combine forces to find Beverly and Brooklyn as quickly as possible. Will they find them before something bad happens?
