Description
Jerica Young never expects to run into Oliver Heaton after he just disappears, leaving her high and dry during a very intimate encounter. It has taken her months to get over the frustration he left her feeling, but the anger is still there. So when she sees him standing across the room, occupying the same exact spot that he had the year before, all of her emotions rush to the surface. The man is too gorgeous for his own good but she wants him. Yet, he isn’t going to get away with leaving her dissatisfied like he did last year. No, this time she will make him beg and then she’ll leave him . . .
On one hand Oliver Heaton loves his job and hates it on the other. He’s never forgotten the woman he had to run out on last New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, when his job calls, he has no choice but to answer. He knows the only chance he may ever have to see her again is to attend the same New Year’s Eve party again and hope that she’s just as willing as she was the prior year to ring it in with him. When he spots Jerica across the room he can’t believe his luck. Only he has his work cut out for him. Jerica is bent on revenge. Now all he has to convince her that their time is better spent getting reacquainted, especially since his job is very likely to get in the way—again.
