Description
An old adversary garners an early release from prison and is reported dead in a house fire shortly after they reenter society. Joanna’s world has changed, and she can breathe again. A new life in a new location where old wounds can heal.
Then strange things happen, and Joanna wonders whether the person is still alive. Although that’s impossible, isn’t it? But life has a horrifying tinge of the past to it, and she’s convinced someone is out to get her—or worse, her daughter, Jilly.
A new interest sparks the adversary’s curiosity. They become obsessed, determined to get what they feel they deserve—Joanna or Jilly. Should they move past their obsession with Joanna, or do some fixations never die?
