Rock Hound Falling

Description

Lexie is a young woman trying to exert her independence from her well-meaning, but overbearing brothers. She’s an engineer in a family of engineers. This summer, she’s trying a new tack—taking her turn to herd the family’s cows high in the mountains. She’s hiking there to meet her oldest brother before she starts this two-week endeavor.

On her hike, Lexie spots some rock climbers scaling her brother’s favorite cliff. To her horror, she sees one fall. Knowing she’s probably the only help for the fallen climber, Lexie rushes to his aid. He’s survived the fall, but has grievous injuries. Lexie has no choice but to use her engineering skills to find a way to get the climber to help.
