Description
Is she real or a figment of his imagination?
In the grip of a debilitating migraine, artist Richard Tanner races into a rainstorm to escape the fury of an ex-girlfriend. He ends up in the gazebo in University Park, where he encounters the beautiful, enigmatic Jenny. Fascinated by her otherworldly appearance, he is left with an indelible impression on his mind—that is somehow carried over into his drawings and paintings . . . produced while he sleeps. Odd as this is, even stranger is the accusation that he’s guilty of a brutal assault on his ex. His only alibi is the art works he can’t remember doing.
The almost supernatural hold Jenny has over him and the similarity of his ex’s assault to unsolved cases from twenty years before, soon finds Richard confronting demons of a past he doesn’t remember—when little Richie Tanner walked into University Park whole, and was beaten and left to die . . .
Portrait of Jenny is a mystery/romantic suspense with paranormal overtones that will keep you guessing to the end.
