The Kenworth Christmas Tree Farm has seen better days. With their parents’ ailing health and profits dwindling by the month, twins Chase and Emily Kenworth know they have limited time to turn things around.
Fresh out of school with an MBA, Jackson McKinley never thought he’d be back in Echo Ridge, but until he finds a job, he’s stuck. When his friend Chase asks for help with their failing family business, he readily agrees, with the understanding that as soon as Jack finds employment, he’s out of there.
Jack was only ever Chase’s friend, but the more he and Emily work together, the more Jack wonders why he never pursued her. Emily doesn’t want to ruin things between her brother and his friend, but a stolen kiss with Jack makes her want to throw her good intentions out the window.
Profits have been up, but the coming Christmas season will determine if the trio’s interventions have been enough to save the farm. The twins need Jack’s help now more than ever, but an enticing job offer has him rethinking his holiday plans. Will Jack take his dream job in the big city, or will his feelings for Emily keep him stuck in Echo Ridge for good?
