Second chances don’t occur every day. Recognizing them when they do is the tricky part.
High school sweethearts Nate Klein and Jolie Stuart were voted most likely to marry after graduation. That was eight years ago. What they have together is no longer enough for Jolie. She wants a husband and a family. Nate’s vision for their future doesn’t include marriage or children. When he refuses to take the next step, Jolie calls off their decade-long romance.
Nate doesn’t understand why his commitment to their relationship can’t be enough for Jolie. He loves her, he’s there for her, and he can’t imagine life without her. What if he has inherited his dad’s flight tendencies? The man left when Nate was only ten years old. He can’t take the chance of hurting Jolie like his dad hurt him.
How can Nate overcome his fears before Jolie is lost forever? Will she be able to trust him enough to give their love a second chance?
