Description
People can make some bizarre decisions in their life. Tony Piza is no exception. Deciding he needs a “paid vacation” for a year after college, Tony lands a job teaching sixth grade at a Catholic elementary school. Piece of cake! Yeah, right.
In over his head, his pathetic effort is making him look bad, crimping his efforts to charm a stunning, earthy fifth-grade teacher, and leaving him feeling guilty about neglecting his students’ needs. So he tries a new approach, fueled by his irreverent humor. His kids love it. But the domineering pastor and the egotistical head of the school board? Not so much.
Tony and the higher-ups are on a collision course. Whether he can survive the showdown—well, that’s something else.
