Description
The lady who once wore a white tee to clean the church and tend to the flower-beds, is now First Lady extraordinaire, Destiny Strong, and if you’ve read Destiny’s Decision, you’ve already met her.
Destiny is all about her husband and children, but has come to realize she’s lost herself and these days, she’s not handling things all that well. When her son Scott leaves for the Navy, Destiny is caught in the middle of pain and picking up the pieces.
Like most men, Pastor Roderick Prince Strong did not quite understand her emotional breakdown. He’s committed to making sure his wife is straight and realizes he’s too close to the case, so he signs his wife up for a few sessions with Pastor/Dr. Rosalee Day.
Through these emotional and spiritual healing sessions, Destiny’s finding out that there’s more to life than being a good wife and mother.
And at the suggestion of her husband, Pastor Strong, she’s found something to do. She is now the chairlady of Faith Temple Cathedrals’ First Annual Mother’s Day Banquet.
Destiny enlists the help of her friends and others who eagerly signed up to help. But although the day before the banquet isn’t drama free, it’s filled with love, support, and life lessons.
This will definitely be a Mother’s Day banquet like no other, where Destiny and the women of FTC will discover they are worth . . . More Than Diamonds.
