Description
Sharon Benner is working with one of the horses in her racing stable when a stranger appears. She’s immediately attracted to his dark eyes and swarthy good looks. She’s not as pleased when he gives her the news that one of her horses’ owners has been murdered. She’s even less thrilled when he begins to question her as if she’s a murder suspect.
Detective Robert Winterbane has been a lone wolf, taking no interest in dating since his fiancée dumped him for another man three years earlier. However, when he meets a beautiful and opinionated racehorse trainer named Sharon, his interest is stirred, in a rather passionate manner.
