Oliver Davis is a normal 6-year-old boy. He loves playing video games and practicing taekwondo. He also has type one diabetes, which makes his life a little bit more complicated. When Oliver and his dad, Liam, get pulled into the land of Dranlin, they both have some unique challenges. Liam, who doesn’t believe in magic, must come to grips that he is now in a fantasy book. Oliver has to figure out how to manage his diabetes in a place where diabetes doesn’t exist. (No diabetes in fairy tales? Inconceivable!) Both father and son gain the strength they need to become the newest heroes of Dranlin.
