I slowly blink and exhale, “The truth is, I am the guardian of Earth. I was born with a special gene that enhances my human abilities, and I trained for twelve years to master my own power. All so when the day comes, I can defend my planet against alien invasions.”

I clench my fists, tensing my muscles. “That day is here now. An alien species that wants no one in the universe but them is a hundred and fourteen hours away from reaching Earth. Only me and my mentor—a shapeshifting android from a precursor species that once roamed the Earth—know about the invasion and are preparing for it, but I fear that we are not enough to take on an entire army.”
