Howls in the Maples

Description

A missing girl. No footsteps to show her race her to the kidnapper. She left her red shawl, indicating she’d been there among the maples . . . As the weather worsened, another young girl vanished without a trace and the villagers gathered in a tavern accusing a lone wolf for being responsible for the abduction of the young girls. They decided to hunt down and kill the wolf, the mysterious stalker of livestock and humans. But was it the beast that was responsible for the winter kidnaps, or was the tavern harbouring dark secrets amidst its customers?

A highly packed drama with shady characters and with twists of unrequited love. The bloodthirsty villagers bent on revenge, would stop at nothing to smell the scent of death. But was there even a wolf prowling the ice bound land? If not the beast, who then caused havoc, leading to deeply disturbing events.
