Description
Dane, Lani, and Matthew Winter love their life on their family’s outback cattle property, Sunhaven Downs. Everything is turned upside down when their city cousin Amy arrives to spend the year with them and declares that she hates horses. What they don’t know is that Amy holds a secret—a secret that will save most of the Sunhaven lives on the night of the great storm, but not all of them. And what part do the legendary Min Min lights play on the night when lives hang in the balance?
Horses of the Sun is written for children, but the largest readership is adults who like a clean adventure story about horses and the outback, with the added mystery of the Min Min lights (an actual outback phenomena). It is the short introductory novel to The Outback Riders series, currently at five books and growing, as the lives of the Sunhaven riders are followed through the years, with adventures, tragedies, triumphs, humor, love, and lots of horses, as well as the mysterious Min Min lights watching over everything.
