Description
Andrea “Andi” Silvers is doing everything she can to avoid dealing with getting shot during a murder investigation. Her boss at the Coffin Cove Gazette keeps telling her to take it easy. But Andi’s best coping mechanism is to follow her next lead. She agrees to investigate the disappearance of the former mayor’s son, Ricky Havers. And leaps at the chance to interview the new mayor. The police have made no effort to find Ricky. But Andi promises his mother she’ll find out what happened to him.
Then, in the middle of Andi’s interview with the new mayor, she learns that two dead bodies have been discovered, discarded in an abandoned chapel. One of them is Ricky’s. The more Andi digs, the more she’s sure she’s on to something. The new mayor is covering something up, while the old mayor’s corrupt dealings are coming back to haunt him. The start of the Coffin Cove festival takes a deadly turn.
